This Christmas Chess set is new in open box. It comes in the original box with latched case & instructions. It has all the pieces stored in foam with two additional pieces that sit on the sides of the board. The chessboard is the top of the case. All pieces are hand painted. All the figures are Mr. & Mrs. Claus w/ elves, trees & Santa's sack.The latch on the case is broken but the piece holds the case together .
