These vintage whirl-glo xmas light shades work by putting the cone on the top of the xmas bulbs then setting the shade on the pin sticking up from the cone. The heat from the bulb goes through the vents in the top of the shade making the shade spin around showing the graphics.Its pretty cool that they survived this long. These shades were created by Noma in 1936 making them 86 years old this Christmas. They are in the original boxes.Each box contains 4 shades & 4 cones.These work on the old candle chandeliers as well. They are all in great condition.
